How it works

  1. We verify ownership against the FAA registry and run a title search before anything goes live.

  2. Your plane goes live on LiftXAviation.com and the major marketplaces, with your approval on where.

  3. We screen buyers and coordinate showings. You stay in control, and you fly every demo flight.

  4. Closing runs through a neutral aviation escrow company. Our fee comes out at closing; you never write us a check.

Listing preparation

Detail and photo portfolio, by the LiftX detailing division

Full detail before the shoot, then a professional portfolio: high-end editing, corrected lighting, blemish correction on the airframe. Prepared listings present better. Priced on request; check the box in the form and the quote comes with your listing call.

The paperwork

One page. It authorizes us to advertise the aircraft and records the exact fee rate for your aircraft from the published schedule. Nothing exclusive, no term, cancel anytime by email.

Questions owners ask

What does it cost?

3% of the sale price to $100,000 with a $1,000 minimum, 2% to $300,000, 1% above that. Due only at a closing we produced, paid through escrow.

Am I locked in?

No. The authorization is non-exclusive with no term. Sell it yourself or through anyone else and you owe nothing. Cancel by email anytime.

Who holds the money?

A neutral aviation escrow company in Oklahoma City holds the deposit and the purchase funds. LiftX never holds funds.

What about taxes?

LiftX Aviation, Inc. acts as broker only and does not provide legal or tax advice. Sales and use tax varies by state and generally falls on the buyer; consult an aviation CPA.

Who flies demo flights?

You do, as pilot in command, under your insurance, until the sale closes.

What do you need from me?

Registration, logbook status, times, damage history, and photos or a listing preparation session.

What if a buyer has their own broker?

Their broker is paid by their side, not from your proceeds.
